Common Areas We Can Help With

Our GPs and nurses offer advice and treatment across a wide range of women’s health issues, including:

  • Menstrual health (painful, heavy, or irregular periods)
  • Contraception advice and prescriptions
  • Cervical screening (smear tests)
  • Breast health concerns
  • Fertility and pre-conception advice
  • Menopause and perimenopause care
  • Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) options
  • Sexual health advice

Menopause & Perimenopause Support

The menopause is a natural stage of life, usually occurring between ages 45–55, although symptoms can begin earlier (perimenopause). Every woman’s experience is unique, and symptoms can range from mild to very disruptive.

Common Symptoms Include:

  • Hot flushes & night sweats
  • Irregular periods
  • Low mood, anxiety, or brain fog
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Joint aches & muscle pains
  • Vaginal dryness or discomfort

Treatment & Support Options

We take a personalised approach to menopause care, tailored to your needs and medical history. Options may include:

  • Lifestyle advice – diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management
  • Non-hormonal treatments – for symptom relief if HRT isn’t suitable
  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) – to help balance hormone levels and improve quality of life
  • Referral to specialists – when needed for more complex care

We also offer Menopause Group Clinic

The group clinics are for patients aged 45-60 years. They are held every 8-12 weeks, the clinics run on evenings to give access to most patients.
